This Involved Heavy Compositing
Complete with 8k footage, 3d animation with water simulations from Realflow, and The Foundry's Nuke.
While Shooting the Environments
Matt Southall, Art Director, was kind enough to step in and give us a lighting reference that was then matched to the corresponding foreground.
